One stop before we crossed over was to Murray Beach to view the "Muddy River" and we were not disappointed. It was muddier that we ever saw the Mississippi. What causes the muddy look, we have to research. We stopped at a Tim Horton's (the McDonalds of Canada) for two reasons: 1) we were hungry and were delighted with the Panini and Chowder and 2) wanted to use their free WiFi before entering Canada. One other stop at the Information booth before the bridge crossing was most helpful offering tips about campgrounds, where to find lobster boats near Charlottetown.
We stayed at Brudendell Provincial Parc and Resort...it was beautiful: complete with horse back riding, heated pool, kayaking, a marina and conference center. One surprise on Rog's walk around the Parc was the old cemetery. For dinner we drove into Georgetown where Mary tried a different kind of Lobster roll and Rog picked the seafood Poutine (seafood & sauce over French fries). Rog's reaction," Never again !" Rog passed on the Chaliegh (an Irish jam session) which was offered at the local playhouse. Guess he had his fill of Irish stuff.
