Having had a lovely drive along the St Lawrence to Levis, we parked and boarded the Ferry for a short sprint across the river to the Old Quebec port. A short walk through the quaint shop and bistro lined streets led us to the funicular (elevator) that brought us to the boardwalk in front of Le Chateau Frontenac. This very old structure has been renovated into a 5 star hotel. We were treated to a talented street performing act on our arrival. After a stroll around the top, Mary rode the funicular down while Rog chose to walk. After meeting at the bottom, we chose a little pub to share a sampling of appetizers. What a delightful day !
